Maureen Neas Hurst was a deeply loved daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother who lived a life full of love, strength, and kindness. Born on February 17, 1960, she passed away on October 22, 2024, at the age of 64. Maureen shared an extraordinary closeness with those she cared about most, building deep and meaningful connections with her family and closest friends.

Maureen accomplished much in her life, including becoming a published poetry author and earning a Master’s degree in Resource Environmental, with certification in Water Studies. She had a true love for plants, often tending to them with care, and enjoyed spending time in nature. Her love for animals, especially horses and dogs, brought her great joy and peace. Above all, Maureen’s devotion to her family, plants, and animals was at the heart of her life.

As a mother to her three children and grandmother to her many grandchildren, Maureen was always there to offer love, guidance, and support. Her absence is deeply felt, but her legacy lives on in the memories she created and the people she inspired. She will be missed more than words can ever express.
